Fox and Forest is an email marketing agency. To send their clients a special christmas surprise, I was commissioned to illustrate a Christmas story for mailings.
The story was sent out in four mailings during Advent Sundays. Clients could choose which animal they wanted to go on the journey with, but the fox was always part of it.

I began with the main character, the fox, and his friends: The hedgehog, raccoon, and starling.
Some images in the mailings were animated. Since they were to be used in mailings and needed a small file size, I used Photoshop for this.
